Bond Cleaning Docklands
Docklands is newer stock — waterfront towers, glass balconies and concierges who run the building on schedule. Newer finishes need gentler products, and wind-driven salt on glass needs more than a wipe. We do both to your condition report.
Bond Cleaning Docklands: Waterfront Towers and New-Build Finishes
Docklands apartments are usually newer than the rest of inner Melbourne, and that changes the clean. Stone benchtops, matte tapware, vinyl plank floors and full-height glass all react badly to the wrong product. It also changes the access: concierge desks, security lifts and booked loading bays are standard. We plan for both.
Waterfront glass and salt film
Glass facing the water and the wind tunnel between towers collects a film that is invisible from inside and obvious at eye level in daylight. The condition report photos are taken by the agent the same way. Balcony glass, balustrades and window tracks are therefore on the task list whenever the exterior appears in your report.
Newer finishes, gentler products
Matte black tapware scratches with abrasive cream, engineered stone can be marked by strong acids, and vinyl plank dislikes excess water. We match product to surface rather than using one cleaner everywhere — which matters more here than in an older brick flat where almost nothing is delicate.
Concierge, security and lift bookings
Most Docklands buildings need contractors registered at the desk and a lift booked for equipment. Send those instructions with your booking. We work inside building hours, protect lift and corridor floors, and keep the crew to the number the building allows.
Getting to Docklands from Maidstone
Docklands is about 17 minutes from our base at Maidstone (VIC 3012) outside peak hour, measured on Google Maps. In the 7:30–9:00 and 16:30–18:30 peaks the same trip can add 10 to 20 minutes, so we schedule around traffic rather than promising times we cannot keep.
Bond cleans here are scoped against your RTBA condition report and come with a 72-hour free reclean if your agent flags anything within the agreed scope. Prices start at $429 for a one-bedroom, one-bathroom home, fixed in writing before we begin.

Regular cleaning in Docklands
Docklands renters are usually professionals on tight weeks, so the useful rhythm is fortnightly: kitchen, bathrooms, floors and the interior glass that collects the river film. Balcony glass and tracks can be added on a longer cycle — say every second or third visit — instead of paying for a full exterior clean every week.
Regular cleaning runs weekly, fortnightly or monthly from $100, with the scope agreed in writing first — the same habit we apply to end-of-lease work. See what a regular clean covers.
Frequently asked questions — Docklands
The building requires contractors to be registered. Can you handle that?
Yes. Give us the building manager's contact and requirements when you book, and we complete registration and provide insurance documents before the clean.
What about salt film on balcony glass?
It is treated as part of exterior glass cleaning and priced on the task list. It takes longer than indoor glass, which is why we do not fold it into a generic per-room rate.
How long does a Docklands apartment take?
A one-bedroom apartment usually runs 4 to 5 hours; two bedrooms 5 to 6 hours. Balcony glass and heavy kitchen grease add time, confirmed in the written quote.
